The HSR training course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to enable them to fulfil the role of Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) as set down in the NEW National Harmonisation legislation as detailed in section 72 of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and s.21 of the Regulation 2011. OHSA is licensed to deliver this government approved course. HSR’s are then entitled to receive 1 day refresher training every 3 years. We can also deliver in-house courses on-site.

Participants should have sufficient literacy and numeracy to read and comprehend instructions for safety at the workplace. Participants will need sufficient physical ability to attend a five (5) day classroom based course.
As per Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s conditions, participants will need to supply 100 points of identification for the course. This may include the following documents;
(A copy won’t be taken of the debit/credit card but it will need to be sighted. A copy will be taken of the other documents)
Failing to be able to provide these documents on day 1 may result in the participant not being entitled to attend training.
